Mencari Ibu episode I and II

 

My story was documented in a two-part film by BBC Indonesia, created by journalists Ayomi Amindoni and Dwiki Marta, titled Mencari Ibu (Searching for My Mother).

 

The two-part documentary traces my complex search for my biological mother. While the first episode focuses on my individual journey, the second demonstrates that my experience is not an isolated case, but reflects a broader pattern affecting many others. 

 

In 2022, the documentary received a nomination for a Citra Award at the Festival Film Indonesia.
